Kilimanjaro

I was fortunate enough to climb Kilimanjaro for a charity called 'Dig Deep'. They ensure communities in Kenya and surrounding areas have clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene - forever. By reducing the time lost to water collection and preventable disease they remove barriers to learning and earning, allowing people to lift themselves out of poverty.

I spent 5 and a half incredible days on the mountain, I've never witnessed such breathtaking views before. It was one of the most mentally and physically challenging experiences I've ever been through. I document my whole trip so that I would have lots of great memories to look back on from the experience.

Our group climbed with Trek2Kili, who are KPAP approved. If you are thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro I would highly recommend doing it through this organisation. Through out the entire climb they looked after us as if we were family.
